Here are answers to some common questions.
- Q. Am I eligible for this program? How do I sign up?

This program is available in many different locations or a free non credit on line course through Lake Tahoe Community College for students. We can help you determine the best option for you. Please e-mail cahseeSteps@cvc.edu. Teachers interested in this program for their schools can also get more information about the CAHSEE Stepping Into Your Future program by calling or emailing.
- Q. I can't log in. Where are my username and password?

When you signed up, you should have received an e-mail called "CAHSEE Account Registration Details". This e-mail includes your username, password, and instructions for accessing the courses. Your teacher received the same information. If your teacher can't provide it, email support at cahsee@cvc.edu.
- Q. I didn't get my registration e-mail.

Check you spam folder in case the message was flagged as spam. If not and it has been more than five minutes since you completed the registration, email cahsee@cvc.edu You may have provided an undeliverable e-mail address that will need to be corrected.
- Q. I only see one course (Math or English), but not the other.

When you signed up, you probably only checked one option, don't sign up again; email cahsee@cvc.edu and ask to be added to the other course.
- Q. When I finish the enrollment form, I only see a blank white page.

It could be that the "Flash" application isn't properly installed on your computer. Please ask your teacher, supervisor, or administrator to go to http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash to install Flash. The installation must be done using a privileged administrator account or it might not function correctly.
- Q. Flash has been installed, but it still doesn't work.

You may need to install Flash using an 'administrator account'. Please contact your facility's technician and ask him or her to install Flash as a system administrator.
- Q. Can I skip the entry survey?

No. You will not be able to access the courses until the entry survey is complete and you have clicked the "Continue" button at the end.
- Q. How do I get an entry code and teacher ID?

This entry code and ID# will 'group' you to your teacher and you should ask your teacher, tutor or supervisor for this information.
- Q. It says I'm already enrolled.

That's correct and the system is designed not to allow you to enroll again. You should have received an e-mail with your username, password, and instructions for accessing the course. If you can't find that information, you can ask your teacher, as they received the same email or you can contact support and they will provide it for you.
- Q. I'm having some other problem with the interactive lessons.

One possibility is that your browser is using an old cached version of the Flash lessons. You should clear your cache and then reload the page. Here are some instructions for clearing your cache.
